The following actions were resolved in Hill County Justice Court recently. The adults listed were fined or forfeited bond in excess of $59 on criminal violations or $99 on traffic violations. Others were sentenced to jail time for their offenses or were found guilty during trials.
John Joseh Young, 17, Havre, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Shanell Marie Burke, 20, Big Sandy, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
William R. Wells, 37, Havre, was fined $320 and sentenced to one year in jail with all but 24 hours suspended for partner or family member assault.
Larry Mathew Cliff, 48, Harlem, was sentenced to 60 days in jail with all but five days suspended for criminal trespass to property.
Kenesia Marie Bauer, 18, Box Elder, was fined $270 for failure to show proof of insurance.
Nemer Fahed Awine, 39, Seattle, Wash., was sentenced to six days in jail with three days suspended for criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
Carl Helmuth Kuhn, 58, Box Elder, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Barbara J. Anderson, 37, Havre, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Daron Vaughan Jones, 23, Havre, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Collen Kickbush Cross, 40, Havre, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Bernadette Kuuipo Ness, 26, Havre, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
John A. Gardipee, 34, Box Elder, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect. He also forfeited a bond of $120 for fishing without a valid fishing license.
Michael James Gardipee, 20, Box Elder, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but five days suspended for reckless driving and attempting to elude an officer and six months in jail with all but two days suspended for resisting arrest. He also was fined $150 for driving while his privilege to do so was suspended or revoked and $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Charles B. Christianson, 31, Havre, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Trisha Ann Gardipee, 27, Box Elder, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Gina Rae Helgeson, 26, Box Elder, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Miranda Sherman, 27, Havre, was fined $270 for failure to have proof of insurance in her vehicle.
Christine Bernard Blatt, 40, Box Elder, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Karin Margaret LaMere, 30, Box Elder, was fined $120 for criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
Julie Ann Morsette, 18, Havre, was fined $270 and sentenced to six days in jail with four days suspended for driving while her privilege to do so was suspended or revoked.
Bobby Dan BigKnife, 18, Box Elder, was fined $270 for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect.
Margie K. Reckard, 43, Helena, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but two days suspended for criminal trespass to property.
Anthony Glen Basco, 41, Helena, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but two days suspended for criminal trespass to property. He also was sentenced to six months in jail with all but two days suspended for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and six months in jail with all but two days suspended for criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
Daniel Leon Rush, 30, no address given, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but 10 days suspended for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and six months in jail with all but 10 days served for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was sentenced to six months in jail with all but 10 days suspended for criminal mischief, six months in jail with all but 10 days suspended for criminal trespass to property and six months in jail with all but 10 days suspended for obstructing a peace officer.
During the past few weeks, Judge Chagnon resolved 286 more traffic citations involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $99 each, and handled 16 additional criminal violation involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $59 each. The judge also resolved six GVW violations and two animal complaints.
