CHINOOK Kathryn Cecelia Wright, 84, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Burial will be in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery and a reception will follow at the Senior Citizens Center.

Wright was born March 21, 1915, south of Chinook, to Harvey and Anna Marie (Mang) Marsh. She lived her entire life in Blaine County, except for a short time in Washington state in 1936 to 1937. She attended grade school at Logi School which was located south of Chinook, and also Chinook High School.

On June 6, 1934, she married Gordon Fox in Chinook. In June of 1944 she married Norman Thurl (Buck) France. On June 20, 1958, she married Wayne Wright in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Great Falls. The couple spent 41 years together.

She was an avid card player and enjoyed playing pinochle and Skip-Bo.

Wright was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Rita Ann (Fox) Carver in 1999.

Survivors include her husband Wayne of Chinook; a sister, Esther (Marsh) Montgomery of Kalispell; sons, Alvin Fox of Phoenix, Ariz., Harve Fox of Arizona City, Ariz., and Wayne Fox of Kalispell; a daughter, Norma (France) Morris of Broadview; step-sons, Gary Wright of Malta and Donnie Wright of Ogden, Utah; step-daughters, Carma (Wright) Chiodo of Waterford, Wis., and Donna (Wright) Weaver of Willard, Utah; 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
