MARY FLYNN
Mary Alyce Flynn, 76, a resident of Havre for four years, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at her daughters residence of complications from cancer.
Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. tonight at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Father Robert D. Grosch officiating. There will be a private family burial.
Flynn was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Liberal, Kan., to Clarence and Annabelle (McLeod) Webber. The family moved to Kingfisher, Okla., when she was young. She attended grade school there. The family later moved to Texola, Okla., where she graduated from high school.
In 1942, she married Michael F. Flynn in Las Vegas, Nev. The couple resided in Corona, Calif. She attended business college in Riverside, Calif. She then went to work for Harris Department Store as the Personnel Director for eight years. She moved to Havre to be near her daughter in 1995.
She enjoyed art, sewing, photography and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Michael F. Flynn in 1995.
Survivors include, daughters, Alice Henderson and Candace Velk of Havre; sisters, Mildred Carter and Betty Joldersma; and five grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Gift of Life in Great Falls.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
