LUCILLE TAYLOR

Lucille Lucy Taylor, 73, a well known local waitress for many years, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Havre Assembly of God Church in Highland Park.

Taylor was born Oct. 6, 1926, to Stanley and Mary Newbauer.

She worked at the Shanty Cafe, the Iron Horse, the Montana Townhouse, Lees Cafe, the Old Dutch Shop and the 4-Bs. She retired from the 4-Bs in 1993.

She was known for her excellent service and warm smile. She enjoyed waiting tables, fishing, crafts and watching Touched by an Angel. In her younger years she enjoyed snowmobiling with her family and friends and won third prize in a local race.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Freddy, Louie, Stanley, George, Art, Lawrence and Robert Newbauer, and sisters, Sophie Woods, Vicky Arno, Alvina Golie, Mary Olson, Margaret George and Lorraine Farland.

Survivors include a son, Gary Taylor of Great Falls; daughters, Lynda Premo of Lacey, Wash., and Kay Bader of Kent, Wash.; long-time family friend and other daughter, Jackie Lovenguth; nieces, Connie Lund and Janet Cortez; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association or to the donors choice.
