HENRY ROEMMICH
CHINOOK -- Henry Roemmich, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church with burial following in Kuper Memorial Cemetery.
Roemmich was born in Tuttle, N.D. on May 8, 1917 to Peter and Elizabeth (Zerr) Roemmich. He attended schools in North Dakota up to the sixth grade when he went to work to help his family.
Roemmich married Lenora Meckle on Nov. 25, 1945 in McClusky, N.D. He worked as a farm and ranch laborer all his life.
Roemmich was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Olivia and Susan; two sisters and two brothers.
Roemmich is survived by his wife, Lenora of Chinook; daughter, Dorothy Milsop-Wing of East Helena; sons, Richard Roemmich of Efland, N.C.; Terry Roemmich of Chinook; sisters, Lydia Meckle of McClusky, N.D.; Martha Martin of Harvey, N.D.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Zion Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
