EARL DENNY

BOX ELDER Earl David Denny, 63, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at a Great Falls hospital, of natural causes.

Funeral services were held this morning at the Native American Church in Rocky Boy with burial at the Denny Family Plot in Rocky Boy.

Denny was born March 11, 1936, in Rocky Boy, to William and Hattie (Oats) Denny. His entire life was spent in the Rocky Boy and Box Elder.

He was a member of the Sweat Lodge and the Native American Church. He enjoyed traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Denny and a son, Stanford Rides Horse.

Survivors include five children, Susan Rides Horse, Stanley Rides Horse, Janis Denny, Mark Denny, and Terry Denny; nine brothers, William Jr., Daniel, Hartford, Grant, Willie, Ron Lamen, Alex Red Crow, George and Jerry Sattleback; five sisters, Caroline St. Marks, Helen Capps, Hope Denny, Wionia ONeal, Rhonda Rodriguez; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Lillian Peche.

Memorials may be made to the Sweat Lodge or the Native American Church in Rocky Boy.

Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
