Havre Public Schools will host a sale of its surplus items at the Bus Garage on West 11th Street June 8.

The sale, billed by District Director of Operations Ric Floren as one of the finest yard sales, will begin at 10 a.m.

The purpose of the sale, according to Superintendent Kirk Miller, is to sell items that have become obsolete or undesirable for the district. Those items not sold, he said, will be disposed of following the sale.

Floren said that the sale items are varied and many. As an example, Floren told district trustees Monday night that a multitude of little kids desks, the district nurses car, and a couple of motorless refrigerators are among the districts yard sale items.

The sale is open to the public and everyone is invited to come and shop around.
