ROBERT MOONEY
Robert J. Mooney, 57, a resident of Havre, died Thursday, May 20, 1999, in an automobile accident north of Great Falls.
Cremation has taken place.
Mooney was born July 21, 1941, in Duncan, Okla., to James and Carey (Capps) Mooney. He attended schools there. He lived in California and then moved to Montana.
In 1970, he married Diane Theresa Wood.
He graduated from Montana State University in 1997 with an Associates Degree in computer drafting. He was currently employed as a historian for the H. Earl Clack museum at the Heritage Center in Havre.
Mooney enjoyed computers, history, making mini wood working and quilling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Cecil Ray Mooney.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Mooney of Havre; a son, Robert A. Mooney of Havre; daughters, Karri Goldsmith of North Bend, Wash., and Trena Telenga of Coronach, Saskatchewan; sisters, Terry Murchie and Deloris Lowe of Calif., and Carolyne Cantrell of Alaska; brothers, Mike Mooney of Orville, Calif. and Jim Mooney of Okla.; and eight grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Rob Mooney for Diane Fund at the First Security Bank in Havre.
