Tickets are still available for those who want to attend the Old Forts Trail 1999 Rendezvous and celebration of the 125 anniversary of the RCMP March West to be held Sunday, June 20, at Fort Walsh National Historic Site in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Tickets are only available in advance by calling Saskatchewan Tourism at 1-800-575-9600 with a credit card ready. The tickets will be held at Fort Walsh in the name of the purchaser and can be picked up the day of the event. The cost is $10 Canadian per ticket.
The Rendezvous will be just a part of the 125 anniversary celebration of the historic NorthWest Mounted Police March West.
The 1999 Rendezvous and opening will be held in association with the arrival in Fort Walsh of the R.C.M.P. March West re-enactment and a performance of the R.C.M.P. Musical Ride. The musical Ride will perform for the first time in front of Fort Walsh on the same grounds where a century ago the NWMP practiced cavalry drills that eventually evolved into the modern Musical Ride.
