Mark Nay of Helena will join the Montana State-Northern Lights wrestling team as a walk-on this fall, coach David Ray said.
Nay is a graduate of Helena Capital High School and a transfer from Dickinson State University where he redshirted last year. He has already signed a letter of intent to play football at Northern, too.
He will be a dual-sport athlete, Ray said. Hes a great addition to the heavier weights. Hell give us more depth there. Hes very competitive and a good student.
Nay will wrestle either at 197 pounds or heavyweight, Ray added.
Majoring in education, Nay plans to also coach as part of his teaching career. He is the son of Mark and Sheryl Nay of Helena.
