Edith Estelle Randolph, 82, a resident of Havre, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at a Havre hospital of cancer.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Alfred Ebel officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
Randolph was born Dec. 19, 1916, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Raymond and Bertha (Duccomen) Hinrichs. The family moved to Havre in 1917. She graduated from Havre High School and Northern Montana College where she earned her degree in education. She taught in rural schools for several years.
In 1938, she married Homer Randolph. The couple lived in Havre and owned and operated Randolph Construction and Havre Ready Mix for many years.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Robert Hinrichs.
Survivors include daughters, Sallie Peck of Warwick, R.I. and Judi Allan of Mukilteo, Wash.; sons, Raymond Randolph of Charlotte, N.C., and Richard Randolph of Havre; two brothers, Fritz Hinrich of Havre and William Hinrichs of Tacoma, Wash.; a sister, Ruth Robinson of Havre; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Childrens Hospital or to the donors choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
