The following actions were resolved in Hill County Justice Court recently. The adults listed were fined or forfeited bond in excess of $59 on criminal violations or $99 on traffic violations. Others were sentenced to jail time for their offenses or were found guilty during trials.
Steven James Azure, 46, Harlem, was fined $270 for failing to have proof of liability insurance in his vehicle.
David William Brockmeyer, 21, Havre, was fined $100 for failing to stop for a property damage accident.
Leslie Ann Martin, 26, Havre, was fined $120 and given a 6-month suspended jail sentence on each of two charges: criminal possession of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shawn Rodriquez, 19, Box Elder, forfeited $120 bond on a disorderly conduct charge.
Jon Scott Stimson, 35, Havre, was fined $120 and given a 6-month suspended jail sentence for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Shaun Kochin Bell, 19, Havre, was given a 6-month suspended jail sentence and fined $120 for criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
Sheri Lynn Kelm, was fined $270 for driving without liability insurance protection in effect. Kelm also was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but two days suspended and fined $270 for driving while her privilege to do so was suspended or revoked.
Anthony Henry Cruz, 35, Havre, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but two days suspended.
James Marlen Lee Johnson, 26, Havre, was fined $270 and sentenced to two days in jail for driving while his license was suspended or revoked.
Sam Christopher Stump, 27, Rocky Boy, was fined $270 and sentenced to two days in jail for driving while his privilege to do so was suspended or revoked.
Henry Charles Four Souls, 29, Box Elder, was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $270 for driving while his drivers license was suspended or revoked.
During the past few weeks, Judge Chagnon resolved 75 more traffic citations involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $99 each, and handled six additional criminal violation involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $59 each. The judge also resolved five GVW violations and one animal complaint.
