GLORIA WELCH
Gloria June Welch, 68, a resident of Havre, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, at a Havre hospital of a liver disease.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Sixth Avenue Christian Church with Pastor Rowlie Hutton officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
Welch was born Sept. 25, 1931, in Mobridge, S.D., to Lloyd and Hazel Hawkins. She attended school in Harlowton.
In 1948, she married Jerry C. Welch. He preceded her in death. She later remarried. The couple later divorced. She resided in Harlowton, Missoula, and in Idaho before moving to Havre. She was a resident of Havre for the last 36 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents and a brother.
Survivors include her children, Vicky and Nelson Rumore of Missouri, Judy and Tom Stitchman of Billings and Michael and Dawn Welch of Havre; sisters, Virginia Little of Missouri, Velma Tyrell of Havre and Lois Friede of Victor; a brother, James Hawkins of Anaconda; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials are suggested to the Sixth Avenue Christian Church of Havre.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
