RILEY PETERS
Riley C. Peters, 71, a resident of Havre, died Oct. 25, 1999, at a local hospital of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place.
Peters was born Oct. 16, 1928, in Seattle, Wash., to Eliza and Riley C. Peters. He grew up in Port Townsend, Wash., and attended schools there. He worked for his father at the City Cleaners, a dry cleaning business at Fort Warden, Wash. He also worked for various people in carpentry and on a commercial fishing boat.
Riley enjoyed fishing, hunting and visiting with his friends. He came to Havre in 1991, to be near his sister. He was a resident of the Eagles Manor for two years and then moved to the Northern Montana Care Center where he resided until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one half brother and a half sister.
Survivors include a sister, Lee Welch; a brother-in-law, Bill Welch of Havre; and a daughter, Theresa Ann.
