GILDFORD Michael Ambrose Buell, 26, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at a Havre care center from complications of C.O.P.D.
Prayer Vigil services were held Sunday. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. today at the St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Robert D. Grosch officiating.
Buell was born Dec. 8, 1972, in Havre, to Jim and Fran Buell of Gildford and Mike and Laura Meling of Lewiston, Idaho. He attended grade school at St. Jude. In 1982, the family moved to Gildford where he attended KG school graduating in 1992. He later attended Montana State University-Northern and studied computers.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, putting together 3-D puzzles, reading science fiction novels, computers, the Internet, especially the Star Gate web site, and was a devoted Trekkie.
He was a member of 4-H and won many special awards in the dog project.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ambrose Buell and maternal grandmother, Betty Lineberry.
Survivors include his parents, Jim and Fran Buell of Gildford, and Laura and Mike Meling of Lewiston, Idaho; sisters, Traci Perryman and Sandi Cress of Colorado Springs and Ann Marie Chvilicek of Havre; brothers, Bill Albanito of Chaska, Minn. and James Albanito of Hastings, Minn.; paternal grandmother, Marian Buell of Havre; step-grandmother, Ann Madsen of Havre; maternal grandfather, William McLaughlin of Cut Bank; step-grandfather, Kenneth Magdall of Townsend; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
