The MSU-Northern Lights travel to Helena to compete at the Carroll College Kiwanis Shootout Friday and Saturday.
Carroll, Evergreen State, Warner Pacific, and Northern will be at the tournament.
The Lights (4-1) dropped their first game of the season last weekend in a 95-89 loss to the Western Montana Bulldogs.
Northern relies heavily on perimeter shooting and an up-tempo offense to drive the game.
Mel Stubblefield led the Lights offensively last weekend, scoring 17 point against Western.
Michael Claxton of Chester had 15, Bruce Stacy scored 13, Powell Becker scored 14, and Keith Carothers had 11 in the game.
Stacy shot 50 percent from 3-point land, landing three in the contest.
In the 95-82 win over Black Hills State last weekend, Russell Keller had 15 points, shooting 7-for-11 from the field.
Chad Meyer notched 15 points in the win.
Carothers tallied three treys in the contest.
Dustin Endsley, JC Linderman, and Krste Serafimoski, who recently returned from injury, are can also shoot from beyond the arc.
