GEORGE M. SEE
George M. See, 71, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, in a Veterans Home in Columbia Falls, of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Holland & Bonine Chapel.
See was born May 4, 1928, in Radville, Sask., Canada, to James A. and Cora (Ells) See. The family moved to the United States to Malta when he was nine. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, returning from service in 1950.
In 1950, he married Ann Grahm at Great Falls. The couple resided in Great Falls until moving to Havre in 1953.
He went to work for GNRR in 1952. He later retired.
He worked with the VFW Junior Rifle Club, and taught young people proper horsemanship. He was active in the VFW and the Havre Masons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several half brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Ann See of Havre; a daughter, Bonnie See of Tucs on, Ariz.; a son, Charles J. (Jim) See of Kalispell; sisters, Nellie Smith of Malta and LoDemie Lindquist of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or to the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
