LYDIA LOTTON
FORT BENTON -- Lydia Lotton, 96, resident of Fort Benton and former resident of Havre, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at a Fort Benton care center of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sixth Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Jack Rampelberg officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Lotton was born July 19, 1903, to Karl and Elizabeth Becker.
On Feb. 23, 1923, she married Roy S. Lotton. The couple homesteaded east of Laredo and ran the Laredo grocery store and post office for several years. He died in 1970.
She was a faithful member of the Sixth Avenue Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sons, George R. and Arthur C., two sisters, a brother and a great-grandson.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth R. of Ardmore, S.D.; a brother, Carl Becker of Havre; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; several great great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Memorials are suggested to the Sixth Avenue Christian Church.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
