One last tournament, and one last time to honor the top players in State Class A basketball.
Senior Tiffany Shrauger and junior Alyssa Matter were each named honorable mention on the State Class A all-tournament team.
Matter was also named to the first team Class A all-state girls' basketball team.
At the state tournament, held at the Butte Civic Center Nov. 18-20, Shrauger averaged 14.7 points per game.
She scored a game-high 20 points in the 47-35 win over Polson in loser-out action Friday.
During the course of the tournament, Shrauger averaged 55 percent from the field, 44 percent from 3-point land, and 100 percent from the free throw line.
Shrauger went 6-for-6 from the free throw line in the Polson game. They were the only free shots she took at the tournament.
She also averaged 5.3 rebounds per game.
Matter also averaged 14.7 points per game at state.
She put together her best offensive effort against Polson, scoring 18 points, including shooting 63 percent from the field.
Matter was the only Blue Pony to reach double figures in the 57-37 loss to Miles City, which knocked the Ponies from the tournament.
She tallied 15 points and six rebounds in the effort.
The all-tournament team, voted on by the media, is comprised of girls based on state tournament play.
The all-state team is comprised of girls based on play throughout the season. The girls on this team might not have played at the state tournament.
Matter was named to the first team all-state.
Matter finished the regular season ranked 10th in scoring in the Central A, averaging 11.4 points per game.
She was ranked ninth in rebounding, averaging 6.2 per game. She was ranked 10th in assists, notching 45 during the regular season.
She finished ninth in the league in field goal percentage, shooting, on average, 46 percent from the field.
She went 21-for-79 from 3-point land, the ninth-best in the division. She averaged just under one 3-pointer per game. At least twice, Matter was ranked in the top 10 in free throw percentage and steals. Matter led the Blue Ponies with 52 steals on the year.
Shrauger and Matter were also each named to the Central A all-divisional team, and were all-conference selections.
The Blue Ponies, the regular-season and Central A tournament champion, finished the year 17-7.

Honorable Mention
Alyssa Matter, Havre; Tiffany Shrauger, Havre; Alisa Lordemann, Glendive; Kayla Frize, Miles City; Kristin Madman, Browning; Sarah Farber, Glendive and Manina Shawl, Browning.
