The KG KouGars cross country team, who brought home its fourth-straight state Class C title, awarded Eric Hanson and Justin Antonich Academic All-State at the KG awards night held Thursday.
Jared Miller, Joey Stuart, Justin Simonsen, Kyle Reynolds, and Roger Larson were named Academic All-State winners for football. The KG/Blue Sky Eagles won its second-straight six-man football crown this fall.
Eric Marshall was awarded the Captain Award for football. Stuart was awarded the offensive most valuable player award. Eric Engebretson was awarded the Scout Team MVP award.
For girls' basketball, senior Jen Siefert was named to the first team all-conference, and freshman Kim Berg was named to the second team.
Siefert led the team in rebounding and field goal percentage this season.
Marisa Hanson, Siefert, September Donoven, Malissa Williams, Brooke Letang, Abbie Toner, Berg, and Emily Stewart were named Academic All-State.
