ULLA TRONET
Ulla Tronet, 90, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, at a Havre care center of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place. A family interment will be held in Woodstock, Ill., at a later date.
Tronet was born March 13, 1909, to Hans and Selma (Anderson) Kallhauge in GothenBerg, Sweden. She came to the United States by herself at the age of 13. At that time, she spoke no English. She was raised and schooled in Woodstock, Ill., and graduated valedictorian of her class.
She was the personal secretary for Mr. Sears of the Sears and Roebuck Company for many years. She moved to Havre in 1998 to live with her daughter.
Tronet enjoyed gourmet cooking, artistry, painting and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ervin of Havre; a son, Lorens Tronet of Miami, Fla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Grace Lutheran Church in Woodstock, Ill.
Arrangements are being handled through Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
