NELLIE BENBROOKS
BELGRADE -- Nellie Isabelle Benbrooks, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1999, at her residence.
Cremation will take place at Dahl Crematory. Memorial services will be held 6:30 p.m. tonight at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held in Havre at a later date.
Benbrooks was born March 10, 1915, in Carmangay, Alberta, Canada, to John William and Sylvia Lee (Keppler) Rosenberger. She attended high school and had a variety of public service jobs, clerk, waitress, cook, etc.
She married Frank Howard Benbrooks. He died in 1988.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking, baking, bowling and fishing. She retired as a baker from Safeway in Havre.
Benbrooks was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, William, a daughter, Roberta, a brother, Jerry Rosenberger, and her sister, Alberta Gower.
Survivors include daughters, Sue Maney of Belgrade and Beverly Schmidt of Bozeman; a son, Jerry Delyle Benbrooks of Havre; a brother, Tom Rosenberger of Casper, Wyo.; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
