The following actions were resolved in Hill County Justice Court recently. The adults listed were fined or forfeited bond in excess of $59 on criminal violations or $99 on traffic violations. Others were sentenced to jail time for their offenses or were found guilty during trials.
Jeremy C. Ervin, 23, Havre, was fined $120 on a disorderly conduct charge.
Keith Delano Stump, 29, Rocky Boy, was sentenced to six months in jail with all but four days suspended on a charge of criminal trespass to property.
Karen Ann Small, 42, Havre, was fined $270 for failing to have proof of liability insurance in her vehicle.
Stuart Roland Lumsden, 47, Havre, was sentenced to 60 days in jail with all but 24 hours suspended and fined $320 for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI).
Roderick Thomas Schaffer, 18, Harlem, was fined $270 and given a 2-day suspended jail sentence on a charge of driving while his license to do so was suspended or revoked.
Tony Lee Powell, 21, Havre, was fined $260 for operating a vehicle without having liability insurance in effect.
Tara Dawn Benson, 26, Havre, was fined $270 for failing to show proof of liability insurance.
Marvin James Gardipee, 26, Box Elder, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but three days suspended on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Conrad Joel Small, 24, Box Elder, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with seven days suspended for disorderly conduct.
Clinton Sidney Boe, 43, Havre, was fined $270 for failing to have proof of liability coverage in his vehicle.
Lesley Virginia Locke, 26, Havre, was fined $270 for driving without having liability insurance protection in effect.
Ricky E. Robison, 21, Box Elder, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but three days suspended on a charge of obstructing a peace officer.
Susan Thompson, 37, Chinook, was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all but three days suspended on a charge of theft of services.
David Ochoa, 47, Box Elder, was sentenced to one year in jail with all but 10 days suspended on a partner or family member assault charge.
During the past few weeks, Judge Chagnon resolved 96 more traffic citations involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $99 each, and handled two additional criminal violation involving juveniles or resulting in fines of fewer than $59 each. The judge also resolved one GVW offense resulting in fines.
