The Havre Blue Pony wrestling team, the defending State Class A champions, have maintained their third-place classification in the latest wrestling poll.
Ronan is ranked No. 1, and Columbia Falls No. 2.
Willie Hulett, at 170 pounds, is the only individual Blue Pony with a No. 1 ranking. Hulett, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, won by forfeit at Lewistown on Tuesday.
Nick Holt (130) is ranked No. 2 individually. Caleb Schaeffer of Columbia Falls is ranked first. The two will meet for the first time in head-to-head action on Saturday at the Cut Bank Invitational. Colt Jore of Ronan is ranked third. Holt pinned Jore, who had not lost a match in more than two years, at the CMR Holiday Classic in December.
Ryan Chagnon (98) and K.P. Fisher (152) are ranked third. Fisher, who moved up to 160 pounds, pinned his opponent in 1:56 Tuesday.
Chad Hedges (119) and Jacob Szudera (135) are both ranked fourth for the Blue Ponies.
Nick Newell (105) has recently returned from an illness. He is ranked fifth in the Class A poll.
Aaron Jensen (145) and Garrett Hanson (160) are ranked sixth in the division.
Ronan and Columbia Falls combined for five of the 14 No. 1 individual wrestling spots.
