LESTER H. HEDRICK

Lester H. Hedrick, 71, a gaming manager for the Duck Inn Inc. for approximately 13 years and a resident of Havre, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at his residence of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place. No graveside services are planned. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Holland & Bonine Chapel.

Hedrick was born Jan. 5, 1928, at Terry, to Herman and Eva (Jensen) Hedrick. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and served from March 2, 1945, to July 25, 1946. He then lived in California.

He married Betty Adams. The couple later divorced.

In October of 1964, he married Loretta Eckhardt at Couer d'Alene, Idaho. The couple later divorced.

On Oct. 12, 1990, he married Bonnie Welch at Havre. The couple resided in Havre.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and visiting with the people.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Hedrick of Havre; daughters, Carolyn Bowler of Lewistown, Kim Powell of Nine Mile Falls, Wash., and Loretta Englman of Havre; a son, Robert Gustafson of Bothell, Wash.; a sister, Peggy Klamm of Miles City; and nine grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
