A wedding may not be planned for Sunday at the Holiday Village Shopping Center, but wedding activities are.
From noon to 4 p.m. the mall will host the Spring 2000 Bridal Fair.
More than 40 area businesses plan to display their wedding goods and services at the fair, mall director Tiffany Korb said.
Area businesses will show wedding wear and accessories in a bridal show at 1 p.m., Korb said.
There will be a not-yet-newlywed game at 3 p.m. Korb said three registered couples will be drawn from all registered for the game. One member of the couple will be asked questions about the other while they wait out of earshot. The other member of the couple will then be asked the same questions, and points will be awarded for the same answers.
The winners of the game will be awarded $1,000 worth of furniture, Korb said. Other prizes will also be awarded to other registered couples, she said. These prizes have been donated by participating merchants and the Holiday Village, she said.
Registration for the drawing will be by the JeTi Express booth at the fair, Korb said. Couples can register before the fair at JM Donoven Designs in the Atrium and at Julie's Hallmark at the Holiday Village. Korb said these businesses have been organizing the 3 p.m. game.
The various booths at the fair will also have registration for drawings their businesses are sponsoring, Korb said.
