St. Jude's-Havre Central School Principal Therese Cowdery said she invites all area families to come to the Family Dance and Millennium Celebration 7-11 p.m. Saturday night at the Havre Central Gymnasium.

Cowdery said the dance, now in its fourth year, is how the school kicks off its celebration of National Catholic School week. She said this is also a celebration of the school's 83 years of Catholic education in Havre.

She said the entrance to the dance will be through the St. Jude's Social Hall. The Havre Central Booster Club will also be selling concessions in the hall, she said.

Cowdery said that Kirt Miller will be providing live music for the dance. She said the St. Jude's Alumni Association will drawing for door prizes throughout the night, and silent auction items will be available, along with party packs for kids at the dance.

This is being billed as a family affair, Cowdery said, and all are welcome. Any families from the school, the parish and the community are invited, she said. Cowdery said admission to the dance is $4 per person, but $10 for the entire family. This includes parents and their children, even if there are 30 kids, she said. She said this has been organized to provide good family fun for all, and encourages everyone to attend.
