The MSU-Northern Lights basketball team gets set for a full weekend of play.
Northern plays host to Rocky Mountain College tonight at the MSU-Northern gymnasium. The Lights fell in the initial meeting between the two teams, 80-79 in overtime, missing a last-second field goal.
The Lights are coming off a big win over Westminster last Thursday and look to extend their winning streak to three games with a win tonight.
On the season, the Lights are 15-9 overall and 3-3 in conference play. They are currently fifth in the conference.
After battling with the Bears tonight, the Lights will head to Lewis-Clark State, in Lewiston, Idaho, on Saturday. The Warriors trounced the Lights, 80-65, when the two teams played at Havre earlier this season.
On Monday, the Lights will host Montana Tech for their only home televised game of the season.
The Lights are currently first in the conference in scoring.
Northern also has well-rounded scoring with three of their players in the conference top 10 in scoring.
Tip-off for all three games is scheduled for 8 p.m.
