Todd Brummond, managing owner of the Havre Super 8 Motel, recently selected Paul Kuka as the new general manager of the facility.
Kuka will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the motel.
Kuka, who was working at Flynn Realty before taking his new position, began his new duties Monday.
He said he will be in training with Brummond for a couple of weeks until he knows more about the job.
Kuka, a lifetime resident of Havre, attended local schools and received a bachelor of science in secondary education from Montana State University Northern.
He has been an active member of the Havre/Hi-Line Board of realtors for the past 20 years and formerly worked as the sports editor of the Havre Daily News.
