DYLLIS BUCKLIN: Obituary

PLENTYWOOD Dyllis McGill Bucklin, 82, died Feb. 28, 2000 at a Plentywood nursing home of natural causes.

Services have taken place. Burial was at the family farm near Outlook.

Bucklin was born in Wheat, Tenn. to Henry and Willie Augusta McGill on Jan. 20, 1918. The family moved to Havre when she was a child and she attended Havre schools. She graduated from Havre High School in 1938.

She married Frank Wells Bucklin in 1942. He worked for Safeway Foods and they lived in various cities in Montana and Oregon. They returned to his family's farm in the Outlook-Redstone area in 1948. She remained there until she entered the nursing home in Plentywood in 1993.

Bucklin enjoyed gardening and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter and younger brother.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; sons, Eugene of Chinook, and John and Steven, both of Outlook; daughters, Lynette Hunt of Miami, Ariz., and Mary Riedlinger of Outlook; six sisters, two brothers, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
