Meissner Tractor, Inc. of Havre has been awarded the Flexi-Coil Top Ten Award for sales in the nation.
The award joined the others on the wall of Sales Representative Bob Markwardt. There are Top Ten awards from each of the past twelve years on his wall.
The award goes to the top 10 sellers of Flexi-Coil products in the nation.
The Flexi-Coil line specializes in precision tillage and technologically advanced machinery.
"They're very much in precision seeding and preparation," said Meissner General Manager Arnold Lalun. "They're one of the forerunners in that type of technology."
Lalun said that one of the advantages of the brand is that it works very well for producers using precision farming techniques in the area.
Gene Sticka, sales representative for Meissner, said the Flexi-Coil equipment lets them help farmers in the area interested in using global positioning systems in their farming.
The precise capablities of the equipment allows farmers to adjust seeding, fertilizer and herbicide and pesticide application specific to the needs of a specific piece of land.
Dan Spicher, the Flexi-Coil territory sales manager for Montana, said the Havre company is consistently productive in selling their products.
Spicher said Montana has four of the top 10 producers for Flexi-Coil in the country.
Meissner Tractor carries a variety of Flexi-Coil products in crop and seed preparation tools. Their line includes air drills, sprayers, carts, tillage machinery and more.
