HELENA Donna Mae Jensen, 70, Helena, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999 at a Helena hospital.
Cremation has taken place and chapel services were held in Helena.
A memorial service will be held in Havre at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Dorthy Nielsen officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will follow.
Jensen was born to Lester and Hazel Anderson on Aug. 21, 1929 in Saskatchewan, Canada. The family later moved to Havre, where she attended school and graduated from Havre High School.
On July 10, 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, Bill Hansen. She was employed in Havre at Buttrey Foods and later at Havre Medical Clinic. They moved to Helena in 1960, where they built a home side by side with their daughter. Her husband died in 1965.
Jensen worked for the state of Montana for many years. In 1968, she married Burt Jensen. She resigned from state work so she and her husband could travel.
She enjoyed traveling and working in her yard.
Jensen was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Vicki, and husband, Burt Jensen.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail Hansen of Helena; two sisters, Erma Polich of Helena and Harriett Brown of Havre; brothers, Lester (Roland) Anderson and Oris Anderson of Lodi, Calif., and Richard Stees of Lakeport, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Children's Hospital in care of Algeria Temple, Box 4879, Helena, MT 59604.
Services are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
