The MSU-Northern Skylight golf program is in search of a head coach, following the resignation of Jessica Peters last month.
"We are looking at hiring on an internal basis," Ted Spatkowski, athletic director said.
Because the position in not full-time, hiring within the campus community would generate greater availability of the candidate.
"It would be ideal to have a golf coach in place within a month, month-and-a-half," Spatkowski said.
If the campus-wide search does not produce a viable candidate, the search would extend to the Havre community and elsewhere.
No formal applications have been turned in at this time.
