Ryan Hill said he received a call this morning to tell him why his phone interview hadn't appeared on Cartoon Network on June 18.
Hill said he received a call from Alyssa Bass of Cartoon Network telling him his interview would appear on the national cable network on July 16.
The 14-year old, Hill, son of Jon and Yvonne Hill, had been told his request for a cartoon to be shown on the national cable network's "JBVO" cartoon, "hosted" by the Hanna-Barbera cartoon character Johnny Bravo. The program shows cartoons requested by mail or over the Internet by viewers of the network.
Hill said he mailed a postcard to the network describing an episode of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon "Dexter's Laboratory" about three weeks ago. He said Bass called him back to tell him his request had been chosen out of more than 100,000 received each day. Hill later received a call from "Johnny Bravo" interviewing him for the show.
Hill said he was originally told his interview would air on the June 18 program. He said he did not know until this morning it had been rescheduled to July.
