The Havre Northstars dropped a game to the Great Falls Electrics Thursday afternoon at Legion Field.
The Electrics got on the board first thanks to Drew Blewetts' RBI triple, bringing Tanner Keel in from first base. Next batter Ben Wingerter doubled in Blewett to give the Electrics the early 2-0 lead.
The Electrics added two runs in each of the second and sixth innings for a 6-0 lead.
In a losing effort, Havre Northstar Jared Boyce pitched nine innings, allowing 11 hits, and struck out seven Electric batters.
The Northstars did not get on the board until the eighth inning, when Dave Heberly doubled in Kyle Sheppard from second base.
That was all the Electric pitching staff gave up, as they shut down the Northstars, 6-1.
Heberly went 2-for-3 from the plate, while teammates Jordan Anderson went 1-for-4, Garrett Hanson went 1-for-5, Sheppard went 1-for-2, and Jay Rucinsky went 1-for-3.
