LAURA RUNNION
Laura (Barsanti) Runnion, 71, Havre, died Thursday, June 29, 2000 at her home of natural causes.
Prayer vigil rosary services are 7 p.m. Monday at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel. Her funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Joseph Diekhauns officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Runnion was born Oct. 18, 1928 in Havre to Guerino and Marsiglia (Bachini) Barsanti. She attended Havre schools and graduated from Havre High School in 1947.
She married Richard Runnion in 1947. They divorced in 1972 and remained close friends.
Runnion worked in the retail business most of her life, at F.A. Buttrey, Owl Drug's card and gift department, Don's Medical Pharmacy and later with her daughter, Teresa, at the Wooden Heart in the Atrium Mall.
Runnion enjoyed people, having coffee with friends, family gatherings, and traveling. She once traveled to Italy to meet family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Joe Conidi, and two brothers-in-law.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Miller of Havre; two sons, Ken Runnion and Doug Runnion, both of Bozeman; two sisters, Yolanda Mueller and Josie England, both of Havre; five grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Havre High School music department.
Services are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
