The Havre Comets finished up their season over the weekend, going 0-4 in two double headers at Legion Field.
Saturday the Comets dropped two games to Fort MacLeod. In game one the Comets ended regulation play tied at nine, but in the top of the eighth inning Fort MacLeod scored five runs on five hits to put the game out of reach. The Comets could only come up with one run in the bottom of the eighth to lose game one 14-10.
In game two a Fort MacLeod nine run sixth inning did the Comets in for the day as they lost game two 13-2 in six innings.
unday afternoon the Comets ran into a power house in the Lethbridge Miners. In game one the Comets struggled as they managed only three hits in the 17-1 loss. The game was called after five innings.
In game two the Miners held the Comets to two runs on four hits, as the Miners piled up 13 runs on 11 hits for the five inning 10-run victory.
