DONNA STEWART
Donna M. Stewart, 62, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000 at her home in Havre from cancer.
Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Holland & Bonine Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Robert D. Grosch officiating. Burial will fol-
low at Highland Cemetery.
Stewart was born Nov. 8, 1937 at Butte to John P. and Lylia M. (Thomas) Burke. She attended Butte Central School, moved to Dillon and attended
Beaverhead High School for one year. She returned to Butte and graduated from Girls Central High School in Butte in 1959.
Stewart worked for Mountain States Telephone in Butte for six years. She married James Stewart July 7, 1962 in Butte. After their marriage, the couple moved to Kremlin and farmed.
They lived in Kremlin from 1962 to 1975, when they moved to Havre. Stewart worked as a ward clerk at Northern Montana Hospital and was also a clerk for Sears, Kmart and Gary and Leo's IGA.
Stewart was a member of United Food and Commercial Workers Local #8.
She was a 4-H leader, home and school association member, Stephens Minister, Euchaustic Minister, and belonged to Cursillo Movement, Apantao Ministry, Reach to Recovery, and Cancer Support Group. She was member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Stewart was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, James Stewart of Havre; son, Daniel Stewart of Havre; daughter, Debbie Lynn Stewart of Havre; mother, Lylia M. Shockey of Butte; brother, John P. Burke of Butte; sisters, Lylia Flager of Boise, Idaho and Vivian E. Gubler of Draper, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Montana Gift of Life Foundation in Great Falls or to a person's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
