A silent auction will be one of the features offered at the annual H. Earl Clack Museum Membership Meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, in the old court room on the third floor of the Heritage Center.
A wine and cheese social is scheduled from 7 - 9 p.m.
Items in the auction will include 20 items donated by local businesses and individuals including a RCA Satellite System, a necklace/bracelet set, a wine rack, and several paintings and prints by local artists.
The event will also feature 17 door prizes that will be given away to lucky guests. These items too were donated by local businesses.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by the Fox Family a three piece guitar and fiddle band from the Harlem area. The family is well respected for their toe-tapping western music.
Cost of the wine and cheese social is $25 and is open to the public.
Cost of a single voting membership, which includes the wine and cheese social and a pass to the museum, is $50 for a year.
Cost of a family voting membership, which includes the wine and cheese social and a family pass to the museum, is $100 for a year.
Registration forms for the event must be received by Wednesday, Oct. 25, and can be obtained at the front desk of the H. Earl Clack Museum.
The first 100 registrations will receive a H. Earl Clack Coffee Cup.
Guests are encouraged to come to the even in a Halloween costume, but costumes are not required.
