DOROTHY DEMARS
Dorothy Mary (Dedic) DeMars, 88, of Havre, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000 at a Havre care center of natural causes.
The vigil service will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holland & Bonine Chapel in Havre.
Private graveside services will be at a later time.
DeMars was born Nov. 25, 1911 in Iowa to Frank and Julia (Svoboda) Dedic. She moved with her family to the Rudyard area, where they farmed until her parents passed away.
On Jan. 1931 at Havre she married Albert J. DeMars. The couple lived in Havre and then in Great Falls for many years. They returned to Havre in the 1960s to live out their lives.
DeMars was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Doris Kveseth of Billings; stepdaughter, Jean of Illinois; grandchildren, Arthur Kveseth of Yukon, Ore., Leatrice Spence of Virginia Beach, Va. and Lorin Kveseth of Billings; six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Charlotte Macovsky of Havre.
Memorials may be made to the Northern Montana Care Center or to a person's choice.
Holland & Bonine Funeral Home is in charge of services and arrangements.
