The Havre VFW Club will hold a benefit for Pat Skinner on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Skinner was injured by a fall down a flight of stairs in his home about a month ago, and is still in the intensive care unit at Northern Montana Hospital, said Don McKnight.
McKnight, a good friend of Skinner, is helping to organize the benefit. He said Skinner, a well-known member of the community who works at the VFW Club, will need all the help he can get with the expenses.
McKnight said there will be a benefit dinner, karaoke and music provided by Tim Messineo's Jeti Express and a silent auction. He said he hopes people will come in, have a good time and help Skinner out at the same time.
McKnight said they are trying to make as much as they can to help with the costs of Skinner's care and treatment.
