Peps hosts Bud Traveling League Saturday

Jackpot Gary's Halloween party was a screaming success with Holdens and the Hot Wheels crew taking first place for dressing up as "10 pins." Monty Viall, Jerry Robertson, Shawn Holden, and Shawn Mariani were some of the pot winners, leaving them at strike $123, pill $80, and YABA $55.

Gary wishes to thank all of the "festive bowlers" and extends a "come on out and try it, you'll like it!" Jackpot is held every Saturday night at 8 p.m.

Let's try this again Saturday, Nov. 4th, Pep's Lanes at Big Sandy will host the second stop of the Bud Traveling League. Registration begins at 10 a.m. with competition at 11 a.m. The 18th of Nov. registration will begin at noon, bowling at 1 p.m. at Hi-Line Lanes.

One strike and two spares gave Logan Omlie a 111 and the PeeWee's high game. JayLee Berg hit a 106 with a strike and two spares and one strike, one spare, helped Zachary Cichosz to a 103.

Jonathon Austin had a 70, 120 and Kelsey Grandberg a 58, 103 for the Bantam highs. Josh Miller earned a 100 game and 250 3-game series awards for his 114 and 290. Prep top scores were 165, 402 by Seth Jensen and Heather Deady's 134, 338. Dyani Holzhausen earned a 120 award for her 131 and a 300 3-game for a 302; Jacob Hays an 80 game for his 80; and Shawn Linderman a 140 game for his 150. Kelly Lamb and Lindsay Gerky took the honors for the Juniors with scores of 213, 482 and 145, 399 respectively. Eric Fanning's 310 gave him a 300 3-game award. The highs for the Majors were a 203, 534 by Jason Keeler and a 175, 472 from Marcia Stratton. Ryan Safley was awarded a 200 game for a 204 and Jason's 257 earned him a 240 award.

Chris McIntosh was the high roller on the One On One, shooting a 210 and 4-game 722. Becky Henry hit a 177; Kyle Fanning 188; Kyle Austin 170; and Marcia Stratton a 172. Jason Keeler had a 176; Andy Long? a 179; Brandon Komrosky 170; and Eric Lipp 183.

Vicki Clark picked the 5-8-10; Candy Lipp 4-5; Wendy L. Gerky 5-7; and Mel Erickson the 7-9.

Cindy Norton's 622 was the high series for the week and the game of 232 belonged to Julie Hamblock. Julie had a 579; Christy Holden 223, 613; Sandy Sutter 228, 553; Kim Evans 220; Susie Friede 575; Wendy L. Gerky 556; and I had an even 550.

Ryan Mapes' 278 beat out Kory Gerky's 277 for high game, but Kory took series honors for his 718. Ryan also had a 267, 695 and 646. Kory's "7" was his first as was Ed McElmurry's 608 with a 265.
