An experienced Rocky Boy Morning Stars volleyball team looks to light up the District 5C this winter.
"Our experience and knowledge of the game are our team strengths," said head coach Ty Watson. "The ladies are working hard and have spent a great deal of time in the gym."
Senior Desi Sutherland, junior Cherish Day Child, sophomore Lauren Corcoran, junior Jolin DeMontiney, senior Autumn Wright, and sophomore Tiaha Gopher will look to head up the Morning Star offense.
Corcoran, at 5-foot-9, could pose a threat at the middle hitter position for the Stars.
Sutherland, Day Child, Corcoran, and DeMontiney are all returning letter-winners to this year's team.
Junior Rose Crebs, at 5-foot-10, sophomore Sara Parisian, and senior Roylynn Goss round out the Rocky Boy roster.
The Morning Stars look to improve on their sub-.500 record from last season.
On Wednesday, Jan. 5, Rocky Boy will host Blue Sky. On Saturday, Jan. 8, the Morning Stars will travel to Box Elder to take on the Chester Coyotes.
