Mike Leinwand won a $100, Ed Boucher $10 for a 650, and Brett Antley $10 for 6 in a row, leaving Jackpot Gary's b-day pots for strike $270, pill $300, and YABA $218. Since Gary is celebrating his, he wants all February b-days to join in the fun. Show your ID and bowl for half price this Saturday night. There will also be a "Gary" look-alike contest with a $50 prize, so if you can dress like him, look like him, etc., show up at 8. The Mixed Doubles begins Saturday, 2-13, for three weekends. Hdcp. of 80 percent of 210, averages from 98-99, if none, 21 games as of Jan. 1, 2000, or a 165 for women, 175 for men. Shift times: Saturdays 1 to 5:30, Sundays 12 noon to 9 with hour and a half bowling time. Entry fee is $24 per couple, pay ratio 1:10, with $500 guaranteed for first place. Havre Distributors, Penningtons, and Gusto Distributors are each adding $125 to the tourney. This is a sanctioned tourney so you must be a card holder of either ABC or WIBC. Reservations may be obtained by contacting Gary at 265-5885.
Chris McIntosh threw a high of 193, 541, 710, on the One on One. Katie Austin hit a 137; Russell McIntosh 190; Kyle Austin 180; and Jason Keeler 199, 546, 715. Chris Walin had a 202; Brandon Komrosky 194; Trisha Keeler 181; and Doug Ireland a 221. Kyle Fanning hit two games of 168, 2160, and finished the night with a super high game of 275 (+121) and 4gm 771.
Bantam highs were a 97, 162 by Dylan Long and Alyssa Bosch's 82, 142. Alyssa earned an 80gm award and she and Tabitha Myers were awarded 200 3gm for their 208 and 206 respectively. Hi lites for the Preps were: Seth Jensen 184, 402; Brandon Job 156, 371; Angel Grant 133, 328; and Kristi Hollingshead 123, 350. Jensen earned a 180gm; Kevin Golden a 300 3gm for his 301; Adam Michaelis a 250 3gm for his 269; Justin Trethewey a 140gm for a 143; and Ben Lowen a 350 for his 350.
Tiffany Fisher topped the Junior girls with her 125, 329 and Russell McIntosh threw a 226 (+87) and a 528 (+111) for the boys' highs. Russell earned a 220gm award and Jamie French a 160gm for a 166. Major highs were: Jason Keeler 214, 536; Doug Ireland 209, 570; and Marcia Stratton 167, 494. Brandon Komrosky put together games of 169, 187, 244 (+75) for a 611, a 104 pins over average. Nice "shooting" guys!
Don Evans will celebrate a b-day tomorrow! Cassandra Gormely gains one the 5th and Gloria Sterrett and Keith Maristuen the 6th. And then there are the co-managers, "Jackpot" Gary Hillson will be working and celebrating his this Saturday night and "short one" Jan Henderson will just be working Monday night, the 7th.
