The Chinook Sugarbeeters have got a full squad and qualified eight wrestlers for the All-Class State Wrestling Tournament at Billings Friday and Saturday.
Chinook is coming off a third place finish at divisional, behind Conrad and Malta.
The 'Beeters are taking Ben Parsons at 119 pounds. Casey Reid will wrestle at 125 pounds and was a divisional champion with a 31-2 record on the season. His only losses came against Class A opponents.
At 130 pounds, Chinook will take Will Haugen, and at 135 pounds it will be Thomas Maddox.
Chinook head coach Perry Miller said both Haugen and Maddox are wrestling very well and he is looking for big things out of them at state.
At 160 pounds will be Kyle Butcher who won the divisional title and is 27-6 on the season.
Mike Maddox will fill the 171 pound spot for the 'Beeters. Maddox is 34-3 on the season.
Josh Miller will go at 189 pounds and Chris Skoyen at heavyweight. Miller is 32-9 on the season and wrestling well. Skoyen is coming off an injury and divisional was the first time in three weeks he has seen any action.
Miller said the 'Beeters have had great practices this week and are healthy other than some colds.
Miller said the team is feeling very good and excited about the weekend and that pleases him.
The Big Sandy Pioneers will be taking two wrestlers to state.
Lance Nelson has been wrestling well all season at 145 pounds. Also for the Pioneers will be Mace Mangold at 140 pounds.
Nelson finished second place at last year's state tournament behind Brent Riggin of Chester who graduated.
Mangold finished third at last year's state tournament.
Chester will be taking two athletes as well.
Scott Riggin will be going as a defending state champion. Riggin won the state title at 135 pounds last season and will try to repeat this year at 140 pounds.
The Coyotes will be taking Jeff Martin who finished third at divisional at 171 pounds.
Action kicks off this morning at the Billings Metra and will wrap up tomorrow night.
