Lillian Malsam, 82, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at a Havre care center of natural causes.
Rosary services will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Robert D. Grosch officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Malsam was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Great Falls, to Alexander and Julia Micheletti. She moved to Italy with her father when she was three to see doctors in Pisa. She returned to Black Eagle when she was 12 and resided there until graduating from Great Falls High. She then attended Northern Montana College.
On Dec. 20, 1941, she married Tony J. Malsam in Fort Benton. The couple resided in Havre.
She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden, flowers and birds. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1985, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Miley of Havre; sons, Robert Malsam of Havre and John Malsam of Stillwater, Minn.; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude School.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
