WANDA (CLIXBY) STERRETT: Obituary

BIGFORK Wanda Grayce (Clixby) Sterrett, 59, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at a Kalispell medical center.

Funeral services will held Feb. 12, at the United Methodist Church in Bigfork with the Rev. Jan Witman officiating. Burial followed services at Lonepine Cemetery.

Sterrett was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Havre, to Victor and Grace Clixby. She was raised in Big Sandy where she attended schools.

On Sept. 23, 1966, she married Jerry Sterrett.

She enjoyed country music, barbecues, joking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her father.

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Grace and Max Claurter of Big Sandy; daughters, Carrie Scolis of Helena, Debby Gunderson of Power, and Pattie Walborn of Mountain Home, Idaho; sons, Marty Sterrett of Sidney, Australia, and Brent Sterrett of Billings; a sister, Mildred Keppner of Lakeside; brothers, Normand Clixby of Olympia, Wash., and Roger Clixby of Missoula; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Bigfork Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
