Olson, Sayler move into second place, Canadians third in Mixed Doubles

By Marlene Pizzini

"If you bowl regularly and never get irritated, you're not paying enough attention to your game!"

The final weekend of the Mixed Doubles saw a lot of changes, except for first place. Joanne Antley and Art Olson remained in first with their 1428 and Christina Olson and Rob Sayler moved into second with 1377. Cec and Vern Petryshyn of Medicine Hat took over third with 1348 followed by: Michelle and Shawn Mariani 1337; Gary Hillson and Denise Donaldson 1332; Joanne Antley and Keith Abel of Chinook 1330; and Robin and Gordy Myers 1327.

Gary would like to thank everyone who bowled in the tourney. A huge "t" to Penningtons, Gusto Distributors, and Havre Distributors for the added money.

The pots took a beating Saturday night when Brett Antley won $100; June Erickson $55; and Ed Boucher $20. This Saturday night at 8, the pill will be $109, strike $264, and YABA $311. Gary's "Toga" party is scheduled for March 11th and bowling will be half price for those who dare?

There has been some interest shown for bowling d/s in the City Tourney. I will run one shift each Sunday, March 19th but only if there are enough to justify the time and use of the lanes. There is a sheet at the desk for sign-ups or call me at 4664.

This Sunday, March 5, the finals of the Bud Traveling League will take place. A & K Lanes of Choteau will host with registration starting at 8 a.m. and bowling at 9. Please be prompt. Questions or need for information should be directed to Faye and Ken at 622-3398.
