The Chinook Sugarbeeters, the No. 1 seed from the District 2B, will face the Fort Benton Longhorns at 2 p.m. during the North/East B divisional volleyball tournament on Thursday at the Wolf Point High School gymnasium.
The Longhorns are the fourth-seeded team from the District 1B.
Chinook captured its second-straight district title last weekend. They defeated Malta 15-4, 17-15, 15-5 in the championship.
"It was a great tourney," Chinook head coach Paula Molyneaux said. "The team played really well."
Chinook opened the tournament with a 15-6, 15-3, 9-15, 10-15, 15-9 win over Poplar.
The Sugarbeeters defeated Wolf Point 15-10, 15-6, 15-4 and Malta 12-15, 15-10, 15-9, 11- 15, 15-13 in semifinal action.
Amanda Schoen and Renda Birky had 40 kills apiece during the weekend.
The Sugarbeeters had 178 total.
Caroline Moores led Chinook with 93 digs, while Katie Hoffman accumulated 80 and Schoen had 66.
Sadie Fuglevand amassed 11 aces, and Schoen dropped in 10 over the weekend.
Birky had eight blocks and Schoen had seven at the tournament.
Kelsie Whitney and Fuglevand shared the setting responsibilities, with Whitney notching 67 and Fuglevand, 57.
"I was extremely pleased with the defensive hustle and the show of heart that the team displyed throughout the tournament," Molyneaux said. "We look forward to plying in the divisional next week against Fort Benton."
The two teams met at the Chinook Invitational in December. Chinook won 15-8, 15-12 in pool play.
No. 1 Conrad will face No. 4 Wolf Point at 10 a.m. Thursday. No. 3 Choteau will face No. 2 Malta at 2 p.m.
No. 3 Glasgow will face No. 2 Cut Bank after Chinook and Fort Benton play.
Winners will play again on Thursday and losers will meet on Friday.
