MARJORIE JOHNSON: Obituary

Marjorie Faechner Johnson, 73, Havre, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

A memorial service was 11 a.m. today at the Immanuel Baptist Church. Interment of cremated remains followed at Highland Cemetery.

Johnson was born March 12, 1927 in Box Elder to Alfred and Mable (Flansbury) Faechner. She attended schools in Box Elder.

In 1945, she moved to Havre and married Robert (Bud) Daniel. They later divorced and she married Gerald Johnson in 1954.

Johnson was employed at St. Jude and worked with the school lunch program. She also worked at the Duck Inn. She worked at the Eagles Manor in Havre until her illness prevented her from working.

Johnson enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and her volunteer work at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; son, Dale Daniel; and two great-grandsons.

Survivors include daughters Diane Davis, Barbara Henry and Mary Ann Eliason of Havre and Faye Taylor and Judy Sarrels of Great Falls; son, Duane Daniel of West Jordan, Utah; sisters, Agnes Thayer of Boise, Idaho, and Clara Rosebury of West Glacier; brother, Ernie Faechner of Havre; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
